Attorney Rick Skinner is senior partner at the law firm of Skinner Fawcett LLP, where he specializes in public finance and other transactional matters with private and public corporate entities. He works with municipalities, state entities, public bodies, nonprofit corporations, and other corporate entities to help structure their finances.
Originally from Minnesota, Rick graduated cum laude with a BA in history from Stanford University, then went on to earn his law degree from the University of Chicago. In 1970, he was admitted to the Idaho State Bar and received a Reginald Heber Smith Community Lawyer Fellowship. Three years later, he established his own law office, Skinner Fawcett LLP.
Rick is a founding member of Healthwise and has served on the Healthwise board of directors since its inception in 1975. He has also worked with a variety of other nonprofit corporations, and he lectures on public finance matters for programs sponsored by local and national organizations.
